CAN FD is the high-speed version of the on-board LAN CAN that is currently in wide use. Due to the high signal frequencies, the suppression products used are required to take the mode conversion characteristics, etc. into account.

In Part 2, we focus on two product categories among the vehicle-mounted inductor products developed and provided by Murata, and we asked engineers about the strengths of these products and the direction of future advancements.
Technical developments in vehicle-mounted networks are proceeding at a dizzying pace, and these advancements have further accelerated now that the CASE era will soon be upon us. At Murata, we were among the first to develop products compliant with the latest vehicle-mounted network standards, and have established a product development and production system capable of supplying the required volume of electronic components with the needed characteristics at the time that they are needed.
